Accidents can happen anywhere and, depending on the situation, those involved can be seriously injured or even killed because of the accident. If an individual is killed, it can leave a lasting emotional toll on their family members. Emotional wounds of this type can change the lives of those affected forever. Although time will slowly help them cope, the scars are still there. Unfortunately, an accident in Nebraska caused the wrongful death of multiple people.

The accident was a fire that took place mid-morning on Jan. 20 at a manufacturing plant. The fire killed at least two people and injured seventeen. Ten of the injured victims were taken to the hospital for their injuries, while the other seven were treated at the site of the accident.

Four of the injured people were taken to the hospital in critical condition. The current condition of the injured victims is not known at this time. One of the deceased victims was identified; however, the other’s identity is unknown. The cause of the tragic accident is still under investigation by Nebraska police.

Once investigations have been completed by the Nebraska police, the families of the deceased victims may have the right to seek monetary compensation for the wrongful death of the individuals. Compensation could be used to pay for any of the final expenses of the individuals who passed away. Although no amount of money can make up for the tragedy of losing a loved one, it can help relieve some of the stress that is often put on the family because of new bills.
