Drunk drivers injure and kill thousands of innocent people each year. One out of every three traffic fatalities is caused by a drunk driver according to published statistics. Each year many lives and families are destroyed because of drunk driving. The reflexes of the average person can be effected even by one alcoholic beverage and cause a risk to the general public.
Holiday Taxi Program
At Friedman Law Offices, we have had considerable experience representing victims of drunk drivers. The problem of drunk driving has prompted our firm to support the Friedman Law Offices Holiday Taxi Program each holiday season. We started doing this public service in 1990 as a direct response to the increase in numbers of drunk drivers on the road and the harm they were causing to innocent victims. We have continually sponsored the program since that time. We feel that it is our responsibility to contribute this in the community that we serve. We stronger urge you not to drink if you drive. If you do not have a designated driver, call 474-SAFE and Friedman Law Offices will pay for your ride home. The program runs each year from December 15 through December 31, 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.. This offer is only for licensed drivers within the city limits of Lincoln, Nebraska, and to a residence only.

After Home Football Games
Keeping drunken drivers off the road is the goal of the program
Friedman Law Offices of Lincoln is continuing our long-time commitment to keep drunk drivers off the street by teaming with OMALiNK, a Lincoln ground transportation company that provides van shuttle and limousine service. Our firm is sponsoring a Free Safe Ride Home service after all Nebraska home football games during the 2011 football season.
OMALiNK vans will be available on O Street between Centennial Mall and 14th Street for three hours after each home football game, providing rides home (within Lincoln) to licensed drivers who have had too much to drink.
Each year thousands of people are injured or killed because of drunk drivers and drunk driving is particularly common on game days. This program is in keeping with our firm's long time commitment to keep drunk drivers off the street. Our Holiday Taxi Service has been a Lincoln tradition for over twenty years. We want folks to have a good time, but we want them to drive safe.
